Day three

Today was more shopping and cleaning. Cleaning has turned out to be quite a task... Then again that should be expected moving into a barn! Obviously the previous resident was not much of a cleaner. Here are a few pictures of the fun!! The fridge and behind the oven were the worse but then again I have seen some pretty nasty things come out of a friends fridge before soooo.... could have been worse (no names mentioned but you know who you are ;-)).

 Oddly enough I have not minded the cleaning. It has been rewarding turning brown back to white and getting to know all the cracks and crevasses. Makes it all feel a  little more familiar if that makes since at all...

After cleaning and shopping we spent part of the evening with my bosses' family and friends. We played some corn hole and water volleyball at the pool and had some steak and corn. It was nice spending some time getting to know people. There is another girl that lives on the property and it sounds like we may be combining some of our cake skills this upcoming weekend to make a fancy little birthday cake so that will be fun! Mom is flying back to CO and I am starting work
tomorrow so I am off to bed now!
